The Northwood High School boys swim strength in the 2016 season was reflected in the All-American honors doled out this week by the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA) who released their list of the 2015-2016 All-American rankings, highlighting some of the best swimming talents in high schools across America.

The CIF Southern Section Division I Championships finals ended Saturday, May 14, 2016 with a whole slew of Northwood High School records being broken at the Riverside City College in Riverside, Ca.,  The trio that includes Amanda Hsieh, Hunter Hitchens, and Julia Gonik displayed some of Northwood's hot sprint talent, with five individual school records taken down.

NORTHWOOD BOYS SING ALMA MATER AFTER STUNNING PCL WIN; HEAD COACH PRAISES; RELAY TEAMS INTERVIEWED

The drive to the Pacific Coast League Championships Varsity Boys title was fueled by several Northwood relay teams, who broke the 400 Free relay league record in 3:05.72 previously held by the CDM Sea Kings in 2013, and took down Northwood's 200 Free relay school record in 1:25.82

THROWN TO THE T-WOLVES; HITCHENS RESURFACES; NORTHWOOD SWEEPS CORONA DEL MAR

The Northwood Timberwolves, now at full strength with sophomore Hunter Hitchens made an immediate impact resurfacing at the Marion Bergeson Aquatic Center.  Hitchens rallied from a 1.36 deficit going into his anchor leg in the 400 free relay with both teams tied at 78-78 to blaze a 46.10 split that advanced the Timberwolves for the 86-84 victory.

The Northwood Timberwolves secured a perfect two-for-two tri meet sweep taking on Mission Viejo and San Clemente high schools hosted at the Northwood Aquatic Center on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. The Timberwolves defeated the Diablos 107-63 on the boy's side while the Lady T-wolves won 160-129. The girls also won 113-56 against the Lady Tritons, while the boys triumped 107-63.
