Christopher Leung, a senior at Northwood High School, has sent a verbal commitment to the Northwestern University Wildcats class of 2027.

After two full days of prelims and finals competition at the 2022 CIF Swimming & Diving Championships the Northwood Timberwolves boy's swim pulled out an 11th-place finish against 249 high school swim teams and 938 athletes at the Clovis Olympic Swim Complex in Fresno, Ca. (May 12-14).

They've been battling it out for the league championships at the end of the swim season for several years now, and that remained the case Friday afternoon for area high schools Beckman, Irvine, Laguna Hills, Northwood, Portola, University and Woodbridge.

The Northwood Timberwolves strong 2022 campaign thus continued with a highly successful weekend against (50) fifty high schools in Orange County, Los Angeles, Fresno, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Tuolume at the 2022 Spring H.S. Meet of Champions held on Sat., April 16, 2022 (FINALS).

With the entire bleachers filled by family, fans and friends, the Northwood Timberwolves dual meet against the University Trojans was a highly-anticipated match-up at the University High School Aquatic Center on Wednesday, March 30, 2022.

The Northwood Timberwolves, now at full strength with a returning roster punctuated a strong day of swimming with a decisive showing against Portola High School.  There were many bright spots for the Timberwolves under the overcast skies as a deep talented roster swept all three relays and took two league victories on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the Northwood High School Aquatic Center.

It's March, which means you can feel the magic of Madness at work again for the Northwood Timberwolves swim team.  And this season looks destined to be a doozy.  As Northwood has found its groove, the Timberwolves relay teams have become especially dangerous.  The boys and girls squads led the Northwood Timberwolves to a Wednesday clean sweep of relays, each winning the 42 points allotted against Woodbridge High School.

The Northwood High School Timberwolves displayed sheer dominance competing with area IUSD high schools Beckman, Irvine, Laguna Hills, Portola, University and Woodbridge to lift the champions banner at the 2021 Pacific Coast League Championships.

Northwood looked like a well-oiled machine against Laguna Hills High School, so balanced, so team-oriented, so focused meshing together from the swimmers to the coaching staff with success rubbing off in a big way. - LIVE STREAM.

The Timberwolves mostly stayed true to their league standing swimming well enough in the winning column and away with the team scoring tally. Northwood boys secured a 54 point margin of victory 112-58, while the girls kept it very close but fell 78-92.

Distance Freestyler specialist Zachary Waddell has verbally committed to swim for Chapman University beginning in the fall of 2021.

Riding on the crest of a successful wave during this 2021 season the Northwood Timberwolves girls swim team has been a dominant force during the high school swimming scene.  Leading the way are four competitors who have played a big role with stellar performances as a collaborative force to be reckoned with.
