The "Swim of the Week" 100 back 1:01.77 is one of her fastest swims this season.
Liu is a four-year varsity member of the swim team at Northwood, and instrumental part of the Lady T-wolves success this season. As a team captain and varsity leader, she's been a positive role model for others, while demonstrating a commitment to her education.
Liu's team profile is one of the appealing ones that describe her achievements. She explains that swimming has taught me perseverance, determination, and teamwork both in and out of the pool. I've learned how to set a goal and work hard to do whatever it takes to achieve it.
“She has been impacting all our key dual meets with clutch performances in the 100 back and going close to, if not her best times in all relays." said Head Coach Alex Nieto. "I've been super proud of how she's been pulling it together for the girls team."
Congratulations to Avery Liu as this week's recipient for the "Swim of the Week".
